WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost to specific stats. Each upgrade boosts the item level by +3. Each upgrade also increases a random substat.

The upgraded gear typically has a higher trade value as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or a very high stat variance (like the eth titan weapons). Upgrades are not as useful for those with higher variance due to the requirement to roll an exact version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader mod upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item used to upgrade will be consumed forever and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities and can be visited anytime to upgrade your equipment. To keep your gear current it is recommended you visit the upgrader every several weeks.

Upgrades can cost more based on the item level upgrade level, but they will always be cheaper than purchasing new equipment. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest up to 385 ilvl will cost you 20 recycle points. A similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used for weapon, armor, tool, and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased by players through NPCs who sell upgrades to item owners in a variety of currencies. They can also find them in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be used on any tool, weapon or armor. The button will show a preview of an item's next upgrade level if there are enough materials.

The cost of upgrading is based on the slot of the item and the current level of the item, with weapons costing more than gloves or bracers for instance. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones and a few crests, with certain upgrades having a discount to reduce the cost of the Flightstones or item level Upgrade crests that are used. Once an item has been upgraded to a certain degree it is able to be degraded and sold back to the upgrader for a lesser amount of both currency types.

Upgraders for items are available at many locations, including the main island as well as some outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade coupon as well as the possibility of obtaining the latest recipe. The discount for upgrades increases depending on the amount of items being upgraded. It can also be increased by having players complete specific achievements or quests.

Unlike Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II is no upgrader for items at the beginning of Icewind Dale. Instead, the NPCs that are available to facilitate upgrades are acquired via several methods that are both an improvement as well as a disadvantage.

Crests

Crests can be exchanged at an upgrader NPC, such as Cuzolth in Dornogal, or Vaskarn in Valdrakken, for the appropriate upgrade pathways and steps.

The use of these currencies isn't that difficult, but the system introduces some modifications to the upgrade process. For example, once an item upgrading level upgrade (click through the next site) reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic) it won't require Flightstones to be upgraded. This is to allow players to get their equipment to the highest possible ilvl on all their characters, instead of relying only on seasonal loot.

It's also essential to use crests with care, since they only have one use. For instance, it's a good idea utilize all of your Whelpling rank crests on the Best item upgrade gear you have available, and then save Drake and Wyrm crests for the next round of upgrades you're planning on making. This is particularly true for items such as trinkets and rings that take up several slots. The discount for the entire account will only be applicable if all slots on the character are filled with high-quality equipment.
