With an elegant, circular design that looks more like a normal Roomba rather than the boxy units this robot vacuum and mop combo is one of the most attractive designs in our tests. iRobot's latest flagship model also is among the most intelligent and has advanced features like Enhanced Dirt Detection Technology as well as future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that can wash its own mop pads).

It's the only robot vacuum/mop that has an exemplary 10/10 in our tests due to a mix of high-tech sensors that include a camera, structured light system and multiple lasers. It comes with a multifunction dock that automatically empties the vacuum's trash bin, refills its water tank, cleans and dry its mop pads.

The smart robot uses LIDAR and structured lighting to create floor plans and detect obstacles. It can navigate more efficiently than its competitors with premium features. It also has a camera mounted on the front to detect hazards in real-time but this was not foolproof in our testing and was occasionally confused by power cords or other obstructions.

Its vacuum has a maximum suction of 7,000 Pascals which is more than enough to get the job done. It also comes with "Intelligent Dirt Detection", which regulates the intensity at which the vacuum works and also adjusts the frequency of cleaning for different areas of your home depending on the degree of dirt they tend to be.

If you have a larger home, it is worth choosing a model that has zones or spot cleaning modes. This allows you to instruct the robot on which part of your home needs to be cleaned with the help of an app or voice command. A stairway mode is useful if you have a number of furniture.
