It is important to remember that the mapping process could take some time and the Yeedi Cube may need a few tries before it gets a good picture of your room. In addition the object detection is unpredictable and it was able to get around furniture and other obstacles but was stuck on a looser tassel rug and had to turn its back to release itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for an appliance that can do all of the above.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete delivers a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubbers. This results in floors being cleaned, not just being swept. The vacuum stick that can be detached is an innovative tool that can reach areas where robot vacuums can't.

Its operating sound level is also high, so this model may not be as simple to set and forget as the other models.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, comes with a docking system that allows it to refill its clean water, empty the dustbin as well as dry and wash the mop, as well as empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance simple and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in line with the regular schedule. This robot is just a few hundred dollars more than the S8 and does a fantastic job of keeping my office tidy. It is also able to reach all corners of my tiny apartment. It uses a laser mapping camera and laser to create a 3D-map of your home so that it knows what to avoid. And, unlike many vacuums that have mopping capabilities it detects objects and obstructions that avoids items such as bowls for dogs and dog toys (but not poop).

Other great features include a self emptying dustbin and a mop that is self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and an extended side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also customize the settings for each room, and set up cleaning schedules.

Like the S8, it has multi-room smart mapping and can differentiate between carpets, laminate and hardwood flooring with high-pile rugs. It can also skip cleaning rooms that aren't filthy if you're trying to reduce time. If you have a variety of flooring options in your home and don't want to spend extra money on a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping features it is an excellent option.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is an excellent choice if you are seeking a flexible robot that can do both regular maintenance and touch-ups for wet messes. It comes with a wide range of features that include a self-emptying dustbin as well as a dock that can be used to refill water, and customizable settings via the app. It's surprisingly quiet and is able to easily move around furniture legs or socks. However, it isn't able to remove knotted rug tassels and its battery drains quicker than other models we tested in our tests.

With a price tag of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and a handy automation into a slick design. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests for vacuuming however, it did well. It also comes with a selection of cleaning options to suit your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' option for light debris to the more powerful 'Turbo' mode for carpeted rooms. It even has the ability to automate the removal and reattachment of mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum and mop that can be used in small spaces. It is very silent and fast, and it can navigate tight spaces with ease. It also does a very good job of removing pet hair off carpeting.

It's smaller than its rivals, but doesn't sacrifice any features. It has decent suction power and can be set to take photos of each object it picks (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys), and mark them in the app as 'not located' so that they will not be removed in future cleanings. Its photos are encrypted and aren't connected to your account.

It does a fantastic job of vaccuming, however it isn't quite as efficient at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes that you clip to the bottom of the bot and it basically drags them around your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that have water reservoirs that can automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
