The Joie Roomie Glide

The Joie Roomie Glide crib is a crib that can be placed at the bedside, allowing parents to stay with their infant while ensuring that they are sleeping safely. Its smooth gliding motion will help soothe your baby to sleep and its ingenious features allow you to keep an eye on your child without leaving your bed.

The sliding side panel of the crib can be raised and lowered with just a press of a button. This makes it simple to reach inside and soothe a crying baby in the night. It has 11 height adjustments that can be adjusted to fit almost any mattress size. It also has adjustable folding feet to ensure that it sits exactly at the right level.

In terms of safety the cot is cushioned and comes with mesh sides for increased ventilation, and its mattress is made of high-density foam for extra protection. It's also able to be cleaned so that you can keep it clean. Additionally, it is fitted with a sheet that is suitable for use with the cot.

In contrast to other cribs for bedside cots use like the Roomie Glide is suitable for all beds, including divans thanks to its straps and clip attachment. It can also be used as a standalone crib even when it's not attached to the bed. It is packed with wonderful features designed with the idea of parent-child bonding in mind.

The most important thing to keep in mind is that although this crib is perfect for newborns, it won't last long after your little one turns six months old, which means you will need to invest in larger cots. But, in general Roanna felt that the Joie Roomie Glide was a very good purchase and she particularly liked its elegant design.

John Lewis sells the Roomie Glide for PS160. Roanna thought this was a reasonable price for such an item. She was pleased with the way it was positioned in her bedroom and thought its gray color would be appropriate for most modern homes. She did point out that it's not a good idea to rock a baby in the early years because it could create an unfavourable sleep pattern for Bedside Cot Reviews later.

The Tutti Bambini CoZee

The Tutti Bambini CoZee bedside crib is designed to ensure an uninterrupted night's sleep. It features a drop side rail which can be easily lowered to feed your baby at night without having to disturb your little one or get out of bed It's perfect for mothers who are breastfeeding! It's also light and easy to move around during naps or when traveling.

We love that it's constructed of soft materials that have mesh sides that breathe, which aids in airflow and ease of use. It is available in charcoal or oak and a range of melange fabrics that will blend with most decor styles. Anna found it to be sturdy and secure after being affixed to her bed. The legs snapped into place and the zippers were secured for safety. It took Anna about 10 minutes to put together and did not require any tools. There are clear instructions as well as a video, and a customer service number should you experience any issues.

As well as the usual features you'd expect from a small bedside cot crib that include the ability to be connected to your existing bed with a stay-in-place connector system and six height levels, the CoZee has an additional incline option which can be used to help aid congestion or reflux in babies. It can also be washed in the machine - a must for all the spills, vomit, and snot that can be found in a newborn baby!

The CoZee is a great option if you want to keep your child in the first six months of learning to fall asleep independently. It can be used as a crib, changing station or toddler bed. With the addition of a sofa-bed extension pack, it can transform into an crib. And while it won't feed your baby or magically make them sleep, it will rock them to send them off!

The Chicco Next2Me Magic

This is one of the more expensive alternatives. However, it has a lot of excellent features. It can be used as either a side-sleeper or as a standalone crib that is suitable for babies from birth to six months. It's easy to open and close the side panel thanks to a brand new mechanism. It is also more adjustable than the previous model, with 11 different height settings and retractable legs for a secure installation underneath any bed.

Our testers were impressed with the simple access to the side panel, which can be flipped up and down at the touch of the button. This was particularly helpful during nighttime feedings as they could reach in and pick up their baby without waking them.

The side panel can be removed by itself, too however, it's not recommended since it increases the chance of your child falling out of the cot. But, the patented safety locking mechanism ensures that it can only remain in place when it is attached to the bed of the parent correctly. This is a great feature to have for peace of mind, especially when you're breastfeeding and need frequent nighttime feedings.

Telescopic legs enable the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed, such as divan bases and beds with drawers. It has a tilting feature for babies with reflux, as well as an option to rock to soothe them to sleep after eating. It's also extremely spacious and provides excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.

The Next2Me Magic was easy to use and set up for our test subjects, despite the lengthy instruction manual. It is a little heavier than other side-sleepers, but it can still be easily moved from one place to another. It's also foldable up into its travel bag, which is ideal for those who want to transport it. The only downside our test subjects found was that the side panel did not flex as much as the other models, making it a little harder to observe your child from your bed.

The Shnuggle Air

The Shnuggle Air bedside crib is an excellent choice if you want a crib that grows with your child. Designed to be a co-sleeping bassinet that is attached to your bed and transform into a chic cot when your baby is ready, it's perfect for night-time feeds and fostering a bond with your newborn.

The Shnuggle Air crib is designed to breathe, unlike some other models. Its dual-view mesh sides and breathable, Bedside Cot Reviews hypo-allergenic airflow mattress maximise airflow to keep your baby cool and comfortable. The gentle slope helps alleviate colic and reflux. The zipper-down side lets you to feed your baby, or even comfort them during the night.

The conversion kit for cots (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear instructions and everything you need to begin. It took us about an hour to assemble and was fairly simple to put together. The only downside to the instructions was that certain images were not captioned. This made it difficult for us to follow the instructions. However, it was a simple procedure and the quality of the materials employed was of a high standard.

In the co sleeper bedside cot-sleeping mode, we found the Shnuggle Air to be an ideal choice for breastfeeding mothers and women who have had a C-section because it lets them easily reach out to their newborn for feeding and comfort without having to climb out of their bed. It's a great option for parents who do not want to go through the burden of putting their infant in a traditional cot for bedside, or getting out of it.

During our tests we noticed the smooth motion of the next-to-me crib to be especially helpful when it comes to lulling babies back to sleep after feedings at night and midday. The drop-down side is also easily accessed to feed or soothe babies in the middle of the night and was a major selling point for our exhausted test mums. Although it doesn't rock, or have extra features such as a sound machine, the Joie Roomie Slide's sleek design and functional features are a welcome addition to our top crib reviews for bed.
