WoW Upgrades - The Item level Upgrade Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by +3. A random substat is also boosted alongside every upgrade.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless the item is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like Eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are not as important for those with lower requirements due to the requirement to roll an exact version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader enables players to upgrade gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapons. The item used to upgrade the item is discarded and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to enchantments.

You can upgrade your gear anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date, it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every couple of weeks.

Upgrades will cost more depending on the item upgrading level, however, they are always cheaper than buying new gear. For example, upgrading a chest piece from Benthic to ilvl 385 will cost 20 recycle points, while purchasing the same item from a different player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are useful items that can be used to level up weapons tools, armor, and other items. They can be purchased through NPCs who sell upgrades to item owners for a variety of currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade can be applied to any tool, weapon or armor. The button will show a preview of an item's next upgrade level when there are enough materials.

The upgrade cost depends on the slot of the item and the current level of the item as well as the level of the weapon, item level upgrade which is more than bracers or gloves, for instance. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones plus a set number of crests. Certain upgrades provide discounts on Flightstones. It's also crucial to choose crests wisely, as they only have one use. For instance, it's a good idea to make use of all your Whelpling-rank crests with the Best item upgrader equipment available, and then save Drake and Wyrm crests to use for the next set of upgrades you're planning to make. This is especially applicable to items like rings and trinkets that occupy several slots. The discount on the account is only applicable when all the slots on the character are filled with high-quality equipment.
