World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can increase the value of armors, weapons and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as Crit chance and PvE Damage.

If the template for upgrading a weapon ends in %, it will increase 3% of its previous damage for every time it's upgraded.

The cost for upgrading items increases when they reach the item's current level. The cost increases as the item's level increases.

Components

Upgrade components can be incorporated into trinkets, armor, and weapons in order to give them a stat boost or to add an additional effect. These can be obtained by making crafts, buying from vendors, trading with other players, or looting. Some upgrades also have specific cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into equipment that has a slot to accommodate them. The item must have been at the very least upgraded to blue level to allow a component to be applied. Upgrade components, unlike other mods, can only be applied once. They cannot be replaced or applied several times. Infusions and enrichments are a kind of upgrade component used to upgrade non-amulet legendary and ascended equipment, as well as some non-ascended items. Enrichments and Infusions can be obtained by salvaging ascended equipment or completing a quest in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade could include a suffix or prefix changing the name of the equipment to which it is applied (for examplefor example "Canthan Armor Insignia" becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost the Mark Level or Rarity of an item, allowing players create stronger versions with less Upgrade crystals than they require to achieve the same level using standard methods.

A 'boost' upgrade can alter the attack or defense attributes of a weapon, or armor. After the player has completed the cutscene and defeated the Crazed Mechanist These upgrades can be crafted at the Portative Forging Station. They can be dropped by enemies while upgrading other gear or purchasing them from the cash store for 500 upgrade crystals each.

Each upgrade increases the probability that a higher tier version of an item will be dropped during the next reset. This gives players a reason to upgrade their gear even if they are unsure what will be improved after the reset.

The boost upgrade may be successful or not, the process may be expensive, and there is a substantial risk that the item upgrades may be obsolete or even break when it fails; a unsuccessful upgrade could destroy the Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder, as well as the upgraded item. This is mitigated by the availability of cash shop items to double or even eliminate the possibility of failure, as well as a few upgrades that give the benefit of being reinserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to upgrade the Paragon Board by placing them in special sockets. Glyphs boost the effectiveness of all nodes in a radius around them as well as existing affixes on equipment. Glyphs can be upgraded in a variety of ways. We recommend upgrading them as quickly as possible to level 15.

You'll often see in the final game that placing Glyphs is a great way to upgrade your equipment. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded straight to level 15 and offer an enormous boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to reach higher nodes more quickly.

Glyphs, the sole upgrade component which can be removed without restriction and then replaced with no restrictions, are the most common. The only exception is legendary equipment, which requires an Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and re-place.

Each Glyph has a certain range of values that it can improve a stat by. The value is displayed when you choose the Glyph in your inventory. You can replace it with an Glyph that is of the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph.

You can find Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of the Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain unlimited-use gathering tools, and through Faction Crypt raids. Every Faction Crypt will drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

When you have the desired Glyphs You will need to place them on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a special bonus which will boost a specific set of stat nodes within a radius around the Glyph. Based on the Glyph it could be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Glyphs will increase the number of nodes connected to them, which is why it is Best item upgrade to place Glyphs in key locations on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. For instance an Druid should try to place their Glyphs close to their primary damage points, however, you may also want to think about placing them near crucial damage nodes too.

Leveling

The Upgrade Item system of items allows players to increase the power of certain items by introducing upgraded components. This is often referred to as "upping". Each upgradeable item comes with a level that determines its final upgraded stats. Upgraded items can be upgraded up to a maximum of 385 ilvl. Each item level requires various components, and upgrade costs increase with each level.

Some upgrades require a special ingredient to activate. This ingredient is obtained by finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be bought from NPCs, or on the upgrade tab of a crafting table. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed earns several Technology Points. These points can be used to upgrading an item. When enough points have been earned you will be able to claim your upgrade and also receive the bonuses.

When an item is upgraded by a player it is replaced with a different item of the same type. This means that the same armor piece will become a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item comes with its own set bonus. This could be a problem because it can cause the item to become more expensive if you do not require it.

Upgrades to items can be rerolled, provided that the player has enough tokens to be able to do this. The item will be replaced by the same item, but it has a level 1 basis and totally different bonuses. This is useful for certain items, but it shouldn't be repeated often, as it could waste a lot of resources.

Certain upgrades can boost their value and allow players to personalize their gear. One example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an advantage when a player repeatedly enters and exits water (or does not swim as dolphins). This item can be upgraded multiple times and increases the maximum roll every time by 10 increments. This item can be very useful in PvP battles, since a perfectly rolled version of it could be worth between 20 and 50x its non-upp'd value.

Requirements

The ability to upgrade items allows players to increase the quality of their equippable equipment - weapons, armor, and trinkets that are above ilvl 385 by presenting the appropriate items and currency to an item upgrader NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces also increase its base defense and upgrades to weapon items increase the damage they deal as well as their strength and dexterity.

All items can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception for hero gear, which can be upgraded eight times. Every time you upgrade an object it has a chance of failing. The probability of failure increases when you exceed the maximum number. Failures will result in the item reverting to its original condition, which requires the player to purchase more items than if they stopped upgrading after the maximum amount.

If an item is not able to upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item also loses any bonuses it has gained like crit chance damage to attack, additional effects (such as an increase in healing over time, or reloading speed). The player can continue to use their weapon or armor even after the failure.

When an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied in order from the lowest to the highest. This means that, if a weapon gains an increase in its crit chance the increase is applied before any increase in attack damage. Slots is a new attribute that was added to item upgrader mod definitions. The value is recalculated each time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is based on its rarity rating and upgrade slot count. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equivalent to its value. For example an item upgrades that is commonplace could have five upgrades at a cost. 25600 Technology Points, 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items have a lower cost per upgrade.

Premium items have different upgrade requirements as compared to standard equipment, for instance, they may require fewer sowels, but they will require more minerals and erons. The player will need to carry every piece of gear they want to upgrade to NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine. Each equipment upgrade requires different amounts of upgrade ingredients in addition to the costs listed above.
