World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

The feature of upgrading items allows players to upgrade their existing equipment. This can be accomplished by any item upgrader NPC.

Generally upgrades increase an items main stats and provide extra benefits, based on the item type. Examples include Whistan's shield for FB sorcs and Goldwrap for build casters.

Armour

These are usually marked with the blue triangle or gold circle and are available in large numbers as you progress through. They may appear randomly but there is a possibility that obtaining certain upgrades will trigger a quest that will reward you with more.

Weapons

Magic Items

A character is able to upgrade only one item of magic. If an upgrade plan has been cancelled, no more upgrades will be made for the item. Upgraded magic items cost twice the amount of gold to create or purchase, but can have other benefits.

A magical item could be any item upgrader mod with special properties or effects. Most of these items are weapons, but some include armor, shields as well as cloaks, potions rings, scrolls and other objects. Some of these items have a sense of being.

In addition to the items that are available in the standard inventory, players can also unlock some more powerful utility items by buying them from the Atomic Shop and also from seasonal Scoreboard rewards (such as the Shadow Goggles). Certain of these items can be upgraded for more effective use.

Most utility items enhance an individual combat ability or give the player a kind of advantage when it comes to navigation.
