Locations

The Exam Schedule lists the locations in which DEP conducts operator qualification tests. Additionally the Registrar's Office has a list of exam times for classes where an exam is required by NYSED regulations. For evening classes exams, they are scheduled at the regular class time during the final week of the exam.

Registration

Students are encouraged to look up the exam schedule online. However it is important to keep in mind that the final exam schedule may alter at any moment. Before taking the exam students must prepare by studying their course material and practicing their German skills. Fees

If you have completed your studies at Elan Academy and wish to receive an Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (start German 1), you will need to pay the examination fee. This is in addition to the cost of the course.

Practice tests let you get a feel for the style of the questions, their wording, and the difficulty of the questions on the test. They help you evaluate your proficiency, identify gaps in knowledge and improve your chances of passing the exam.

Please note that the exam fee is not refundable. Exam results can only be sent via email and not by phone.
