She was pleased with the way it was positioned in her bedroom, and thought its gray color would be appropriate for the majority of modern homes. She also mentioned that it's not a good idea to rock a baby when it's younger as it could create a bad sleep pattern for later.

The Tutti Bambini CoZee is an award-winning bedside cot mattress crib that was designed with a secure night's rest in mind. It has a drop-side rail that can be easily lifted to feed your child during the night without disturbing them or getting out of the bed. This is ideal for mothers who breastfeed! It's also light and easy to move around during nap time or when traveling.

It's made of soft materials and has breathable mesh sides to promote airflow. It is available in oak or charcoal with various melange fabrics that can be incorporated with a variety of styles. Anna found it sturdy and secure when attached to her bed with the legs securely snapping into the bed and the zips secured to ensure safety for babies. It took Anna around 10 minutes to put together and didn't require any tools. There are clear instructions as well as a video, and a customer support number if you have any problems.

Alongside the usual features you'd expect from a cheap bedside cot crib such as the ability to be connected to your existing bed with a stay-in-place connection system and six levels of height, the CoZee has an additional incline option which can be used to ease reflux or congestion in babies. It's also machine-washable, which is a necessity with all the dribble, vomit and snot that come with having a baby!

The CoZee is an excellent choice for keeping your child close during the first six months of learning to fall asleep independently. It can be used as a changing station, cot or toddler bed. With the addition of a sofa bed extension pack, it could transform into a bed. It won't feed your baby or magically sleep them, it will rock them to send them off!

The Chicco Next2Me Magic

This is one of Chicco's more expensive options, however it comes with a lot of features. It can be used as either a side-sleeper, or a standalone crib, and is suitable for babies from birth to six months. It is easy to open and close the side panel with a brand new mechanism. It's also more adjustable than its predecessor, with 11 different height levels and feet that retract to installation under any bed.

Our testers were impressed with the simple access to the side panel that can be lowered and raised by pressing one button. This was an enormous help during night time feeds, as it meant they could reach into and take their baby away without waking them up.

The side panel can be lifted by itself, too however, it's not recommended since it increases the risk of your baby falling out of the cot. However, the safety locking mechanism ensures that it will only stay down when attached to the bed properly. This is an excellent feature to have for peace mind, especially when you're breastfeeding and need frequent nighttime feedings.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic is designed to be a perfect fit for any bed, including divan bases and beds with drawers due to the legs that can be telescopic. It has a tilting feature to help reflux babies, and an option to rock to calm them after a meal. It's also extremely spacious and provides excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.

The Next2Me Magic was easy to use and set up for our testers even with the lengthy instruction manual. It's a bit heavier than other side-sleepers but it's still quite portable and can be moved from room room with ease. It's also able to fold up into its travel bedside crib bag, which is great for those who want to transport it. The only thing our testers have found is that the side panel did not move as much as other models. This caused it to be a bit more difficult to see the baby from your bed.

The Shnuggle Air

The Shnuggle Air bedside crib is an excellent choice if you want a crib that can grow with your child. Designed to be a co-sleeping bassinet that is attached to your bed and convert into a stylish cot once your baby is ready. It's ideal for feeding at night and for strengthening your bond with your newborn.

The Shnuggle Air crib is designed to breathe, which is different from other models. Its dual-view mesh sides as well as breathable, hypo-allergenic airflow mattress increase airflow to keep your baby cool and comfortable. The gentle incline helps ease reflux and colic. The zip-down side allows you to feed your baby, or even comfort them during the night.

The kit for converting cots is also well designed, with clear instructions. It includes everything you need. It took us an hour to complete and was fairly straightforward. The only issue was the absence of written captions on some of the pictures which made it difficult to follow some of the steps. Overall, the procedure was simple and the materials used were of high quality.

The Shnuggle Air is a great choice for mothers who are nursing or have had a c-section. It allows them to reach out and hold their baby to comfort them and feeding without leaving their bed. It's a great option for parents who do not want to go through the hassle of putting their baby in a traditional cot or getting out of it.
